This site should work for everyone

Our Commitment

Why this matters to an IT company

We spend our working lives making technology usable for other people. It would be difficult to justify a website that failed at the same task.

Orca IT Solutions is committed to making azmsp.io usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard only, use voice control, rely on magnification, or need reduced motion. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site properly rather than as a compliance box to tick afterward.

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard is the one most widely referenced in the United States and it covers the practical things that matter: text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, content that works without a mouse, structure that assistive technology can navigate, and pages that remain usable when text is enlarged.

We aim to conform substantially with that standard across the site. As with any site that is actively maintained and regularly added to, some pages will be further along than others, and third-party content embedded from elsewhere is not always within our direct control. Where we find a gap, we fix it. Where a visitor finds one first, we would rather know than not know.

This is also a matter of ordinary business sense for our clients. Many of the organizations we support, medical and dental practices, law firms, schools, retailers and public-facing service businesses, have accessibility obligations of their own. Working to the standard on our own site keeps the knowledge current, and it means we can give practical answers when a client asks what their own website needs to do.

What We Have Built In

The measures already in place

Concrete things, not intentions.

Semantic HTML structure

Pages are built with real headings, lists, landmarks and buttons rather than styled div elements, so screen readers and other assistive technology can announce and navigate the structure correctly.

Full keyboard navigation

Every interactive element, links, menus, forms, buttons, can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a visible focus indicator that shows where you are.

Color contrast

Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds, and information is never conveyed by color alone.

Descriptive alternative text

Images that carry meaning have alt text describing what they convey. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them instead of reading out filenames.

Meaningful link text

Links describe where they go rather than saying click here, which matters a great deal when a screen reader user pulls up a list of links on a page.

Labeled, forgiving forms

Form fields have visible, properly associated labels, errors are described in text rather than by color, and nothing times out on you mid-entry.

Ongoing Work

How we test, and where we know we have work to do

Accessibility is maintenance, not a project with an end date.

How we test

New and updated pages are checked with a combination of automated tooling and manual testing. Automated checks catch the mechanical failures: missing alt attributes, contrast below threshold, unlabeled form controls. Manual testing catches the rest, because most real accessibility problems are about whether something makes sense, not whether it validates.

Manual checks include tabbing through the whole page with no mouse, confirming the focus order is logical and the focus indicator is always visible, zooming text to 200 percent to confirm nothing is cut off or overlapped, and listening to key pages with a screen reader to confirm headings, landmarks and link text actually communicate the structure.

Known limitations

We would rather be honest about this than publish a blanket claim of full conformance. Content embedded from third parties, maps, video players, some form and payment widgets, is not fully under our control, and its accessibility depends partly on the provider. Older documents and images added over the years are being reviewed and remediated as we work through the site.

If you hit one of these and it blocks you from doing something, contact us and we will provide the information or complete the task with you another way while we work on a permanent fix.

Reporting a problem

The most useful reports include the page address, a short description of what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. Any detail is better than none, if all you can tell us is that a page did not work, we will take it from there.

• Email the contact form with Accessibility in the subject line
• Or call (602) 677-0779 during business hours and speak to someone directly
• We acknowledge accessibility reports promptly, normally within one to two business days
• We will tell you what we found, what we are fixing, and roughly when
• If a fix will take time, we will offer an alternative way to get what you needed in the meantime

Everything else you might need is reachable without the website. You can reach us by phone or text at (602) 677-0779 and through the contact form on this page, and we are glad to take inquiries, quotes and support requests that way rather than through a form. Our Support Center and contact page cover the same information, and we can read any of it to you over the phone if that is easier.

Accessibility questions

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard most commonly referenced in the United States for public-facing websites, and it covers text alternatives, contrast, keyboard operation, structure and resizing.

We aim to conform substantially with WCAG 2.1 AA and we work to it continuously, but we do not publish a blanket claim of perfect conformance. An actively maintained site changes constantly, and third-party embedded content is not always within our control. We prefer to be accurate and fix what is reported.

Use the contact form, mention accessibility in your message, or call (602) 677-0779 during business hours. Include the page and what went wrong if you can. Every report reaches a person here in Gilbert, not an automated inbox.

We acknowledge accessibility reports promptly, normally within one to two business days. Straightforward fixes are usually made quickly. For anything larger we will tell you what the plan is and offer another way to get what you needed in the meantime.

Absolutely, and you never have to use a form. Call or text (602) 677-0779 and you reach a person. We handle inquiries, quotes and support requests entirely by phone or email whenever that is easier for you.

It is built to. Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and lists, links describe their destination, images carry meaningful alternative text, and forms have properly associated labels. We test key pages by listening to them. If something announces incorrectly, please tell us which page and which screen reader.

We can advise on the technical side and on the standards involved, and we work with clients in healthcare, legal, education and retail where accessibility obligations are common. Tell us what you have and what prompted the question, and we will give you a straight assessment.

Yes. Screen reader, magnification, voice control and other accessibility configuration on Windows and macOS workstations is normal support work for us, and it is included for managed clients like any other request.
