Medical Practices ยท Gilbert, AZ
Every minute the EHR is down is a charge you never capture
Appointments run behind. Providers document on paper they will key in twice. The schedule never fully recovers, and the front desk absorbs it.
What we hear most
The problems that bring medical practices to us
- An EHR that stalls at 7am on a clinic day, before anyone is even in the building
- Imaging and PACS traffic sharing a network with the guest Wi-Fi
- A HIPAA Security Risk Assessment that was promised annually and last happened in 2022
- Backups covering the file server but not the practice management database
- Staff accounts still active for people who left, because nobody owns offboarding
What we put in place, and evidence
- Business Associate AgreementSigned at onboarding
- MFA on all PHI accessEnforced
- Encryption at rest and in transitConfigured + recorded
- Annual Security Risk AssessmentDocumented
- Access controls and audit loggingWho saw what, when
- Restore tested backupsTest date recorded
- Workforce security trainingCompletion records
- Incident response and breach planWritten
Every control produces a document, a report or a log. When a carrier, an auditor or a client asks whether you have it, the answer is a file rather than a conversation.
What we support
- EHR and practice management: Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Greenway, Allscripts, Kareo and Tebra, including the database and integration layer underneath
- Imaging and PACS pipelines, plus the device integrations that come with a procedure schedule
- Encrypted email and fax, secure messaging, patient portal connectivity
- Check in tablets, e-prescribing and clearinghouse connections
- VoIP, front office workstations and the printing nobody thinks about until it stops
Changing providers
Switching without losing a day
Cutover happens outside your working hours. Nothing that touches a server happens while you are trying to operate.
We document before we change anything. Your network gets mapped, credentials inventoried and licensing verified while your current provider is still in place.
You own everything from day one. Documentation, passwords, licences and configuration registered in your name. If you ever leave us, you take all of it and nothing stops working.
We own the vendor calls. Your software vendors, your ISP, your phone provider. That is our job, not your office manager's.

Straight answers
Questions medical practices ask first
Our EHR goes down at 7am on a clinic day. What happens?
A human answers. Clinical down issues jump the queue and go straight to your pod, the named engineers who already know your environment, so nobody is asking which EHR you run. We work it remotely immediately and dispatch from Gilbert if it needs hands. Response target is 15 minutes.
Do you sign a BAA?
Yes, at onboarding, before we touch anything containing PHI.
Do you support the EHR itself or only the network underneath it?
Both, up to the line where clinical configuration becomes the vendor's job. We keep the environment, database and integrations healthy, and we own the escalation to your EHR vendor when the fix is theirs.
We have three locations. Can you standardise across them?
Yes. Consistent infrastructure and security standards at each site, centrally managed, so a provider working from a different office on Thursday has the same experience.
Are you a HIPAA compliance consultant?
We are a managed IT provider that implements and documents the technical and administrative safeguards the Security Rule requires. For legal interpretation of your HIPAA obligations, work with compliance counsel. Most practices need both and we work alongside them regularly.
Can we do the assessment without committing to anything?
Yes. No obligation, no contract, and the report is yours to keep even if you stay where you are.
