Backup and Disaster Recovery ยท Gilbert, AZ

An untested backup is a rumor

Image level backup with offsite copies, restores tested on a schedule, and a written recovery plan with a recovery time that is a known number rather than a hope.

How we do it

  • Image level backup of servers and critical workstations, not just file copies
  • Local copy for speed, offsite copy for survival, immutable so ransomware cannot encrypt the backups too
  • Microsoft 365 backed up separately, because retention inside the tenant is not a backup
  • Restores tested on a schedule and the test date documented
  • A written recovery plan naming systems in priority order, with a target recovery time for each
  • Annual tabletop walkthrough so the plan has been read by the people who would run it

The three failures we find most

  • Backups running for years with no restore ever attempted. A server added after the original setup that was never added to the job. Backups sitting on the same network the ransomware would reach.

Who takes this first

Where this matters most

Everyone, honestly. It is the cheapest insurance in the building and the single most common serious gap we find, usually a backup that has run for years and never been restored.

It is rarely bought in isolation. Most businesses pair it with the services listed alongside, because the failures they prevent overlap. We will tell you which combination actually fits rather than quoting all of them.

Billed at $250 per hour, two hour minimum plus $125 travel for onsite, or included in a flat monthly agreement with neither. See pricing.

Questions we get about backup and disaster recovery

How long would it take to get us running again?

That is what the plan defines and the testing proves. It varies with your data volume and what you consider critical, and after an assessment we give you a real number rather than a marketing one.

Do we still need backup if we are all in the cloud?

Yes. Cloud platforms protect against their own hardware failing. They do not protect you from a deleted mailbox discovered eight months later, a compromised account, or ransomware syncing through a file share.

Do you handle data recovery from a failed drive?

Yes, for existing clients and as a standalone service. If the drive has a mechanical fault requiring a clean room, we manage that with a specialist lab rather than opening it on a bench and making it worse.
