Ubiquiti UniFi support ยท Gilbert, AZ
Wireless designed from a survey, not from where the outlet was
Ubiquiti gear is excellent and genuinely affordable, which is why so much of it is installed badly. Access points placed by convenience, one flat network, and a controller nobody has logged into since the install.
What we walk into
The Ubiquiti problems we see most
- Dead zones in exactly the places people need to work
- Access points placed near a power outlet rather than where coverage was needed
- One flat network, with guest Wi-Fi able to reach the server
- A controller running on somebody's old desktop under a desk
- Firmware years behind, with the network drifting out of sync
- Warehouse or shop floor coverage designed as though it were an office
If you recognised more than two of those, the free assessment will tell you which ones are actually urgent and what each costs to fix.

What we handle
- Wireless design from a survey. Racking, metal, inventory levels and wall construction change coverage dramatically. We measure rather than guess, which is the whole difference between wireless that works and wireless that mostly works.
- VLANs and segmentation. Guest, staff, voice, cameras and clinical or plant floor devices separated properly, so guest Wi-Fi cannot reach the server.
- Controller hosting and management. Run properly rather than on a workstation under a desk, backed up, and monitored so an access point going offline raises an alert instead of a complaint.
- Switching and cabling. Managed switching, PoE budget planned, structured cabling terminated and labelled.
- Firmware and lifecycle, kept current across the estate on a schedule.
- Warehouse, shop floor and multi suite coverage, sized for scanners, tablets and forklift terminals rather than for laptops in a quiet office.
Straight answers
Ubiquiti questions we get
Is Ubiquiti good enough for business?
Yes, when it is designed and managed properly. The hardware is capable and the value is genuinely good. Most Ubiquiti networks that disappoint were installed without a survey and never managed afterwards, which would sink any brand.
Do we need a survey, or can you just add another access point?
Adding access points without measuring frequently makes wireless worse, because overlapping channels interfere with each other. A survey costs less than the second round of guessing.
Can you take over a UniFi network somebody else installed?
Yes, including adopting devices into a controller we manage. We document what is there, tell you what is actually wrong, and give you a prioritised list before changing anything.
Where should the controller live?
Somewhere with a real backup and real uptime, not a workstation under a desk. We host it or run it on a properly managed device, and we back up the configuration so a hardware failure is not a full rebuild.

Not sure whether Ubiquiti is your actual problem
That is what the free assessment is for. We look at the whole environment, not just the thing you called about, and tell you plainly where the real bottleneck is.
